DIY sensory bottles

April 23rd, 2014|Categories: diy|Tags: , , , |31 Comments

A little while ago I posted about some things I had made up for Chloe to help her wind down from school as she was struggling a little and was over tired. One of the things I made her was a sensory bottle, much like the ‘time out jar’ filled with glitter that I had seen on pinterest. Chloe’s is filled with pretty little beads and gems, sequins and glittler for her to shake and watch everything settle back down while chilling out. When I made Chloe’s I thought I’d make one for Noah as […]

Here is a super fun and easy Easter craft to do this extra long weekend with the kids!!The other day Chloe said to me she wished and wished with all her might that she would find a little bunny pet in the back yard for us to love and take care of. I said to her that that was a lovely wish, but that it was one that probably couldn’t come true right now as we aren’t ready for a pet! I encouraged her to play with her hundreds of soft toy bunnies {my kids […]

I wanted to share this quick and easy little way to decorate those popular glass milk bottles {or mason jars with handles or anything glass really – let your creativity run wild!} with something we probably don’t think much of {except during back to school time where most of us probably really don’t like it} – contact paper.I shared this photo a couple of months ago of some back to school afternoon tea prep for my kids and so many of you asked where I got our apple milk bottles so I thought I’d […]
